LORD'S IS HOME TO A COLLECTION OF THE FINEST CRICKET-RELATED ART IN THE WORLD. JOIN US IN EXPLORING SOME OF THESE TREASURES AT THE ‘HOME OF CRICKET’.
The Greater London Area invites you to join our ‘Paintings in the Pavilion’ tour offering a unique insight to the original paintings, which have connected the Club, Ground, and game - the wider world. The event showcases part of the MCC’s extensive collection of cricketing art. The tour will highlight the links between cricket and art, as well as reflecting the changes in society over the last 250 years.
Perfect for both cricket followers and art enthusiasts, this exclusive Tour offers a unique insight into the artists and their subjects.
The Tour includes:
- A wine and nibbles reception in the Bowlers’ Bar – situated in the Pavilion
- A visit to three of the Pavilion’s ‘Grand Rooms’ – the Members’ Writing Room, the Committee Room, and the Long Room to see some of the MCC’s best-known pieces of art, and to hear some of the history behind them
